The first 25 students at the Motorvehicle University of Emilia-Romagna have reached the chequered flag on their academic path. Yesterday in Modena, there was a MUNER graduation ceremony, for ten new engineers specialising in Advanced Automotive Electronic Engineering and 15 in Advanced Automotive Engineering.
Present at the ceremony were the President of the Emilia-Romagna region, Stefano Bonaccini, the President of Muner, Andrea Pontremoli, the rector of the Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia, Angelo Oreste Andrisano and the co-rector of the Università di Bologna, Enrico Sangiorgi. This is an important step for those who have chosen to extend their passion for motorsport into a career, within this environment of academic excellence supported by the automotive industry in the Emilia-Romagna region. Our team is a firm believer in this process and it is part of our company policy to find and develop young talent to work in all areas from the track to the factory. Among the first twenty five Muner graduates are Annalisa Aicardi and Leonardo Faggionato, whom we have known for a while and you can watch an interview with them here.
After their Muner internship with us in Faenza, Annalisa and Leonardo went through our very successful Formula Future enrollment and training programme. Their experience at Scuderia Toro Rosso is now continuing really well. And now it’s time to pop the champagne cork to celebrate in the best way possible. As the Muner experience comes to an end for 25 students, there are a further 278 students from around the world attending the lessons now, in the hope of becoming the very best in the automotive and motor sport world. Scuderia Toro Rosso and other companies involved will be supporting them all the way.
Huge congratulations to the new engineers and good luck for their future!
